If, like me, your Friday nights revolve around Gardener’s World (I’m a toddler mum that knows how to party 😂), then the beginning of spring brings with it so much promise. Until we manage to find a house to move to, I personally still live in a tenement flat in Edinburgh’s city centre, and so my gardening sadly amounts to a simple bowl of forced indoor bulbs or over-watered house plants. I started a wish list on my phone many years ago of the plants and trees I’ve come across from varying different sources of inspiration and that one day I hope to try my hand at nurturing. In the meantime, I spend a lot of time watching gardening courses or finding the nearest National Trust property or open garden scheme for a potter.
